MCU head honcho Kevin Feige loves to pride on his Marvel movies tackling different genres – Winter Soldier as a tense political thriller, Ant-Man as a heist movie, etc. – but we all know that sentiment can produce varying results. Werewolf by Night is being marketed as a campy monster horror of the Universal Monster movies of yore, and based off of early reviews, it may live up to that. Starring Gael García Bernal as monster hunter/werewolf Jack Russell and directed by composer Michael Giacchino, it’ll be quite interesting to see just want horrors Werewolf by Night can pull off in this Marvel Studios Special Presentation.
