Windsor police said all three suspects are expected to face charges of aggravated assault and robbery and were due for court appearances on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues as the Major Crime Unit works to identify other suspects in the apparently random attacks.

According to police, there were two separate incidents — both during the early morning hours of Aug. 27 — in which five to seven suspects assaulted lone individuals.

The victims were both adult males walking by themselves. Neither victim is thought to have known any of the assailants.

One of the victims was seriously injured.
